About
The World Literature Webinar Series is an independent, open-access academic initiative founded in 2023 to make high-level conversations in world literature and comparative literature freely accessible to an international audience.
The series brings together scholars working across world literature, comparative literature, translation studies, literary theory, and related fields. Rather than focusing solely on individual publications, the webinars explore broader conceptual questions, emerging methodologies, and the intellectual debates shaping the field today.
Mission
Designed especially for graduate students and early career researchers, the series seeks to lower institutional and geographical barriers to academic exchange. Every webinar is recorded and made available through the YouTube channel, contributing to a growing public archive of scholarly conversations.
Organized and moderated by Dr. Simla Doğangün.
